Ancient Witch Tale. Modernization can't suppress old lore as exemplified in this old woman who is thought to be witch by her neighbors. Eufrosina Fernandez,80, a resident of Upper Balulang this city died Sunday after months of being bedridden. The elderly woman supposedly asked to drink human blood which is said to sustain her and serve as her "food." Her neighbors said it took the old woman a long time to die because she was looking for some people to pass on her abilities. Balulang barangay chairman Justiniano Bacan said he cannot confirm the gossips. Others said Fernandez was a witch who operated in one barangay in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon province.
