Wowowee in Cagayan de Oro! Kagay-anons braved the scorching sun to watch their favorite noontime show in its first staging here. Police said two minor stampedes occured, resulting to injuries, some of which serious that almost 20 fans were brought to the hospital for treatment. Around 200 suffered from mild asphyxia and exhaustion. Some lost consciousness even before the show started at 1 PM Saturday. The crowd was estimated at a whooping 100,000 though police said the actual figure may have only been over 60,000. The show was a post-fiesta activity of the city.
